Summary: Learn how to add scenes to the production schedule in Celtx screenwriting software in this free screenwriting software video.
"DREW NOAH: So, the next thing I want to show you how to use in Celtx is the Production Schedule, and this is just another really cool feature, just a little calendar program they set up so you can plan your production after you've got your screenplay done or your script, and you've organized everything in your Project Library and set everything up. Now, you can actually set up your production. And just everything else, we'll add this to the Add option and--oh, it's right here, Production Schedule. Let me show you one they already have set up an example. So, you can see up here your scenes are right here and these are populated straight from your screenplay. It just takes all your scenes and you get them right here. So, I can add these things to my calendar and start setting up my production schedule, so you'll see all I have to do is drag and drop them into the schedule. So, these two are in the same location, the "FOREST." You can also see I can sort these together by clicking on the setting right here, especially useful when this is populated with every scene in your movie. You're going to want to put the similar scenes together. So, I've got these. I've set up right here. They should be in reverse order day and then night, of course, but you could worry about fixing that later. So to fix it, I could just delete that one, and now I'll add the night scene. There we go. Now, it's below it. So, that's how you add scenes to a day and just to come introduction to the Production Schedule. And you can see just like little calendar program, you switch months right here or right here. And I've got a weekly view and a monthly view which we started on, week view, and then day view. And it looks like I can change the time by just dragging this out, and then now it's in that block right there. Of course, it wouldn't be on 12 p.m. because this is night, but you get what I'm saying? So, that's how just adding scenes to your production schedule, and I'm going to talk more about what you can do in the Production Schedule in the following clips."
