"DREW NOAH: So continuing with the Project Library, now I'm going to talk about all the different items you can add. And first off, to add an item you can either go to this little plus right here. This Add right here, or you can right-click in the Project Library and quickly add an item. But if you want to see descriptions for items, you're going to have to go either here or to this add and plus, and it brings up a little pop-up dialogue. So you can see, these are all the items that you can add. First off, with the Screenplay, that's a formatted screenplay, Stageplay, A/V script, Audio Play, just a regular Text document which is useful for outline, treatment or synopsis, Storyboarding, which I'll go into more detail later, a Production Schedule, which I'll go into more detail later, a Character description. And what's cool about Celtx is, I've already got, this is just an example screenplay but it has pulled all the characters that are in the screenplay and to my options to pick from or I can name a new one down here. And I can also choose which folder I want to put it in if I already have my folders created. You can add a location description, a prop description, an actor description. Scene details and you can see it's populated with all my scenes that are in my screenplay: Wardrobe details, a Bookmark to a Web site, a Calendar, a File, Additional Labour details, Animal, Animal Handler, Camera details. It just goes on and on. Let me just go through all of them for you: CGI, Construction, Electrics, Extras, Greenery, Hairs, Lights, Livestock, Makeup, Mechanical effects, Miscellaneous, Music, Optical effects, Painting, Production Notes, Security, Sets, Set Dressing, Sound, Sound effects, Special Equipment, Special Effects, Stunts, Vehicles, Weapons. I think you get the idea. Just endless amounts of details for just different things like if your script called for a weapon, this is where you could enter a description of it. So you know what you need and you can easily tell somebody else what you need because your descriptions are right here. And somebody else who's working on the project could find it. So basically, most of these are just descriptions for different things you might need for your script and for your production, like Hair and Makeup, Livestock, et cetera. The most important things are on the top--all your screenplays, formatting, and then character is very important. And location, props or actors are all very important. Probably the most likely things you want to add because you don't just want to--just use this as a screenplay editor. One important thing about writing a screenplay is knowing--having some background on your characters, and they easily offer this little set-up to do it. Just an example, add this one. You could select what folder I want it in, characters, click OK. Then you can see it added my character and then I've got a Profile, Physical Description, Traits, Motivation and Background. So that's how you add a new item to your project library and some of the many, many items that you can add to it."
