Video Transcript

"In kid safety you can teach your kid how to effectively use their feet as a striking implement. If grabbed from the front, you're going to show them how they can use the foot as an important striking implement. You're going to go towards the inside of their leg right above the ankle bone. That's where you're going to be striking. You're going to put the foot forward like this and then you're going to do that with a little more force. And that's going to bend the leg just a little bit and then you're going to step right where their foot was. Now their foot may not move, in fact it might just bend and if that is the case, you just step on through it anyway. So you're going to attack the ankle and then you're going to step on through it. They're going to be distracted with that point where then you can escape. Attack the ankle and then step on through it and that's going to help them get off balance, enough for that you can then escape through the back, going to the back. Ankle, down, and out. That's how you escape from a 2 hand grab from the front using your foot as a striking implement."
