"Hi, in this clip we're going to be talking about your toddler's teach and how to keep those clean. Now that your baby has eight, ten, twenty teeth, you want to make sure that you're keeping them nice and clean. Now once your baby turns about two or three years old and knows to not swallow the toothpaste but to spit it out, you can start using toothpaste with them. I really like the natural toothpaste and this one is strawberry flavored so it?s really great. When you are using toothpaste for a toddler, you really only want to use a pea size amount on their toothbrush and find a soft first toddler toothbrush so it?s nice and small for their mouth. And you're just going to put a little dab, just a little pea sized amount, on to the toothbrush like that. And when you're brushing their teeth, you will probably need to help them so when they hold it put your hand over there?s and then help them brush their teeth. And you'll want to do it twice a day. Best times are after meals or after breakfast and before bedtime. Another thing that really helps with oral hygiene habits is by flossing and this you can start doing when babies have two teeth that are touching. And I like these little flossers because they're made for kids, they're called fun flossers, and they come in lots of fun colors, and they have a little grip that's easy for the babies to hold. A great way to get your child to be interested in flossing is to have them watch you do it so you can do it and then they can try and do it themselves. And it just comes so it has a little floss already on there and just go between those teeth that are touching and start to teach them about the importance of flossing. And that?s how you keep you toddler's teeth clean."
