"So in the last clip I talked to you about homeopathic remedies to help ease your babies discomfort from teething and in this clip I'm going to talk a little bit about using traditional medicine like, infant Tylenol or acetaminophen any kind of acetaminophen which is a pain reliever would be fine. This is for people who are not interested in using the homeopathic or the homeopathics didn't seem to work for their baby. When you give it to them you're going to want to call your pediatrician or to talk to your pediatrician before giving it to the baby to find out the exact dosage that is appropriate for your size child. So when you give this to the baby, first you have to get through the parent proof top here and you're going to figure out, you're going to fill it up and then squeeze it down to the amount that your pediatrician has recommended for your age and weight size baby and so you're going to do instead of putting it straight back into the baby?s mouth, because you don't want them to choke when you give them liquid, is you're going to put it towards one or the other cheek and squeeze the liquid into their mouth that way. That way it goes throughout their whole mouth and they can swallow naturally verses if you squirt it straight down it might just go straight down their throat and they can choke. So when using Tylenol I recommend that you don't use it too much. Save it for the really important times usually at night time. Usually during the day time you can distract them with toys, or tether?s, or different activities. The homeopathic remedies usually are good for, at least, you know, day time if they don't work for you baby at night time and the reason why is you just don't want to give them too much acetaminophen, too much medicine at all but at night time if they're having a hard time sleeping which is keeping you up too, the Tylenol comes in really handy because it will help reduce the pain and discomfort for about four hours at least, that they're experiencing it. So use it sparingly and use it more at night than during the day if you can but it can help a lot of babies."
