"LYNN EPSTEIN: Alright, our bread is toasting. And again, it's far away from curious fingers, which is perfect because now, our table is cleared. We've cleaned up, and it's time to make the chocolate milk. You have to have something to go with the monster toast, so we're going to make some chocolate milk pretty easy. You take some of the remaining cups that you might have. I'm using see-through because it is fun to see the mixing action that happens, but you can also use a smaller kid friendly cup. This is a little bit smaller, and I think it's sometimes easier for kids to handle them. Dixie cups, the paper ones, they kinda get crushed in little hands. They don't really sometimes modulate how strong they are, and they're a little bit flimsy. So, I like a thicker plastic cup. These are pretty good because you could see the action happening. And remember; don't forget to talk about what you're doing. For instance, "I pour milk. What am I doing? I'm pouring." Now, for the chocolate milk, you can have chocolate milk in the syrup form, or you can give each child a little bit of chocolate powder in a cup, and they can actually pour the chocolate powder in the cup, too. This is kinda fun. The other one that is also fun is the squeeze bottle, 'cause squeezing is a lot of fun. I also do the hand-over-hand for the squeeze bottle, 'cause you don't want to give them the chocolate syrup by themselves. Oh, it is more like, "Hmm, here's some chocolate syrup with a little bit of milk on top." So, this is where you might want to use your hand to help them out. So, hands-over-hand, just a little pour, get your spoons that you had before. They're over here and do a little mix. You could even use a straw, if you want to use a plastic straw and have them mix with the plastic straw, and they could drink through the straw, because drinking skills through a straw and using a cup, get away from the sippy cup. Sippy cups are bad after a certain age. After two years old, your mouth needs to move in a different way, the muscles need to learn to move side to side and back and forth. If you're always use sippy cup, that's a bad skill to have when you're four. It doesn't look so good. Alright, our chocolate milk is ready. Don't you drink it yet, because you know why, maybe the toaster over just rang. Let's go check."
