"LYNN EPSTEIN: Some things to think about when working with toddlers and small children is location, location, location. You want to pick a table where everybody can see and everybody can reach because if you're on little stools at countertops and kneeling and reaching over, there's going to be spills and falls, un-fun, and breaking things with kids is not safe. So pick a low table where kids can reach and do things like that and be able to see. And, also, to prevent messes, you want to have handy a little toweling and, also, this is a great trick. It's very easy. Take a large t-shirt, pop it on the kids, and you can have an instant smock. No freaking out, no messes, maybe even parents won't complain, pretty cool. Alright, so we have the kids all smocked up ready to go, you're ready to make some monster toast. Ready to get your ingredients, this is what you'll need."
