"Hi, this is Nicki with baby signs on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip we'll talk about bedtime. Bedtime is a great way to get started signing with your baby or to continue signing with your baby. These are a few of my favorite bedtime books. There is Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown. There's Brown Bear Brown Bear by Bill Martin Jr. And I am a Bunny. In these books especially Brown Bear Brown Bear, there's not too much going on, the child can see the pictures and you can sign to it and it makes it very interactive. So you have bird, I already showed you the sign for bird, like this or flapping their arms like wings. You have frog, which the baby sign is sticking your tongue out, that would be frog, a baby finds that very easy and fun to do. There is a sign for dog which in baby signs we pant like that. So it goes through all the animals and then later on you can help the child identify the colors and talk about what they all see, which one is their favorite. That's why this is a really great book to get started with when you start signing with your baby."
