"Hi, I'm Roxanne Bedford Hoge and this is the series on dressing for pregnancy. Now, if you have a baby that's due in the summer like I do, two of them, you'll know that it gets hot, and you get hot, because you have your own personal heater attached. What are you going to need to survive a summer pregnancy? Swim wear. Don't be scared. It's actually easier than buying swim wear for your non pregnant body. Why? Because, you're meant to have the largest belly that you've ever seen, and I have to say that a bikini when you're pregnant, especially one like this, with a skirted bottom is really fabulous and incredibly sexy. Why? Well, the skirt is going to cover what can't be flattering to most of us. The only person I know who didn't want to wear a bikini when she was pregnant, was Cindy Crawford, which she looked so great not pregnant well, who could blame her. Right now your stomach is taught and glowing, and you look fabulous so give it a whirl. The other option is to go with a tankini. Why not a one piece? Well, they have maternity one pieces, but remember we're talking and the portions are important and you look like nothing like an apple when you have on a one piece. A tankini smoothes that line out a little bit because, it flares out on the ends, but more importantly with a separate top and bottom you'll be able to go to the bathroom and you need to go to the bathroom a lot when you're pregnant. There are a lot to be found in black and in all sorts of cuts. Halters' are really great to hold up your breasts. What to wear to cover up these swim suits around the pool? Well, look for something gauzy, filmy, that gives a little bit of movement to your shape and just skims over your body. Again, maternity because a regular one will be too tight in the waist. Any summer pregnancy you'll get a lot of sleeveless clothes, and you might not like the size and shape that your arms are in. Get some sort of a shrug. Just a little top bolero piece, and pair it with any of these little tops that are out and you will look like a million bucks."
