"Hi. I'm Roxanne Beckford Hoge and welcome back to dressing for pregnancy. We're going to cover now how not to dress. They're common mistakes. Everybody makes them. But try to avoid these. The first is to think that by completely covering yourself in sweat clothes no one will notice. You're right. No one will notice you're pregnant. They will think you really gained a lot of weight. This does not good things to the new proportions of your body. Especially as your chest is getting bigger? If you have necklines that are closed up and near your chin it's going to look like there's just one misshapen lump growing from your chin to your legs. And that's not a good look. Also pants that aren't maternity that are clinging to you in all the wrong places. That's not going to feel good or look good. The other thing that I would try to avoid is dressing in all your husbands? clothes. Now I happen to think a man's shirt, kind of cute, kind of sexy. But if this is your uniform you're going to need to find pants that fit especially. Pants are crucial. The shirt can definitely work and if your husband is close to your size definitely make it work for you. But if you are living in your husbands clothes including his underwear? Shame. Come on. Try some of my tricks and you can make your own clothes work. Not to mention that when you start to lose weight after the baby you'll need clothes that fit, too. Next time we'll discuss how to dress when you don't want people to know that you're quite pregnant but you still want to look good."
