"On behalf of Expert Village, my name is Sally Head and today I am going to talk to you how to nurture your preschoolers imagination. Encourage your child to play. Children learn a lot from just watching adults. They love to pretend what we do whether it is something in the kitchen, using a banana to pretend we are talking on a telephone or whatever it is they are using their imagination to create something in their little world. Right now it looks like we are cooking something. What are you cooking Hannah? I don't. You don't know but you are cooking something on your stove. Did you turn on your stove high enough. Yeah. And it doesn't take a lot to encourage their pretend play. Some things can be found around the house and just put some Cheerios in a box but it is helping her to practice stirring and pouring from one to the other and it really helps them grow and they love to pretend at this age. What else are you going to do? Add some salt and pepper to it?"
