"This is geography at Northstar Montessori Preschool at the three to five classroom. We leave out one particular map puzzle depending on what one we're working on. We will show the children a picture and we always make sure that we color it the proper color, so they can determine that that is this. This is our land and water globe. This is the other globe. This is something that we do a lot of, this is land, air, and water. And one of the activities that we do, we'll have little animals, and we'll have them determine whether you would find those animals in land, air or water. So we change these activities out quite often. Right now this is a stationary work so the children don't move it or take it anywhere, they just do the puzzle in the way that they would do a normal puzzle."
