" Hi! My name is Ann and I am here to talk about homework tips. One of the biggest battles as a parent you have with your student with your child at home are distractions. There are so many things that will sidetrack the child from completing their homework in a timely and efficient manner. Unfortunately, when they are in their bedroom doing homework, there are many things that tempt them to sidetrack them from the homework. Certainly playing the radio, you know, rap music and all that kind of stuff will not be a good thing while you are doing homework. When you are doing homework, it is important to focus sitting concentrate on what you are doing you cannot multi task homework. Many students and many children will say “Oh! no, I can do many things at the same time.” Not true. Multitasking is not a good thing when you are studying for a test or trying to understand or comprehend an idea. Certainly another major distraction is the television. Many children will go to their bedroom start the homework assignment and be tempted to watch TV while they are working. Again not a good idea, these are distractions and you cannot multi task the homework assignment not… not that something I would suggest."
