Video Transcript

" Hi my name is Casey Neuwirth and I have a business called Gateway Fitness. You can contact me at http://www.gateway-fitness.com. Carri’s going to help demonstrate how to do a kegel. Kegel’s are very important when you’re pregnant as well as when you’re not but the idea is strengthening your pelvic floor muscles and what she’s going to do is contract and lift up on those pelvic floor muscles almost as if she’s stopping urine from flowing. And those muscles are very important to strengthen because if you are in labor you can actually help relax those muscles and know where those muscles are to help in your delivery. "
