How to Set Up an Internet Account for Kids

"My name is Courtney Hester on behalf of Expert Village. In this clip I'm going to show you how to set up a login to the internet for your child. Setting up a login account to the internet for your child allows you to add restrictions to their internet access without adding restrictions to your own. The first thing we're going to need to do is get into our account manager. So I'm going to log into my internet and I'm going to go access my account information. Now, depending on your provider, this will vary some. I'm going to go down some and this is going to allow me, it allows me to create sub accounts. So I'm going to click on this and I'm going to click on this and we have to enter our password to look at this and we want to create a new sub account. We're going to choose a user name, I'm going to make this child and I'm going to create a password for them and it'll be something that they'll remember. I'm going to do that and you have to retype it and we have to add their information. Okay and now we're going to create the sub account. You have now set up an account for your child to log into the internet."
