"Hello! My name is Cindy Glover and I am going to talk about the Block Center. The Block Center is another center in a classroom where children can go and build and construct with blocks of different materials and different sizes, different shapes, different colors, and for in here, they can learn about size and shape, math concepts, problem solving. When children lift, shove, stack and move blocks, they learn about weight and size. Each time they use blocks, they are making decisions about how to build a structure or solve a construction problem. Self-esteem is something that you will children express as they show pride in their finished product."
