"Welcome back my name is Alisha and I'm with Expert Village. Some kids just love to be held close and feel like they are secured. Other times kids love to be swaddle, this is a technique they usually teach you in the hospital before you go home. It is just laying your blanket out. Creating a triangle out in one of the corners. You just lay them down and you want to bring along one of the sides and tuck it in underneath the body. Some kids like to have their arms tucked in while others don't. Then you just bring up the base and bring around the other side and there you go, you have a nice swaddle baby. This is a great technique for kids and a lot of them actually like to sleep this way. Another great thing for kids who like to be held close is a baby sling either a front carrier or a backpack are great. The babies just lay inside of it. They are able to go about your business through the day while they still felt like they are being held and cuddled nice and close. "
