"As a parent, your aim should be to provide the local and the systemic, local in the central and analgesic to your baby. For doctors, for years thought lotions that are available in the market, which have certain analgesic action, which if applied properly gives a very soothing affect on your baby's gums. Similar thought lotions are said to contain mercury compounds, which is very harmful for your baby, so keep a check on the content of their teething lotions. Besides that, you can give your child a carrot stick or toast or you can apply whiskey or ice or honey. Our motive is to massage that area, so that the tooth eruption is facilitated. To provide a systemic analgesic, there are ingredients, medicines that are available in the chemist shop. One of them is Phenobarbital, that has to be given in the dosage of one point half to two quarter grams, three to four times a day, the alleviate the pain. The other medicine you can give to your child is acidine salicylic acid, that's in a quantity of about one, one point four grams and give three to four times a day. Again, to give pain relief to your baby."
