"This is Julio Anta from Anta’s Fitness & Self Defense Miami, Florida bringing you some classes on children’s functional training on behalf of Expert Village. You guys have heard of the 300 workout or the Spartan 300 workout that they did the training for the movie 300. What you do is 300 repetitions without stopping. You could either pick 6 exercises and do 50 or 3 exercises and 100 or any other multiple that you like. Obviously time, he’s not going to do 300 repetitions; we’re going to cut it short but we’re going to give you a little demonstration on that. Let’s say he couldn’t finish his 100 jumping jacks; he would finish them at the end. So let’s start with the jumping jacks. Go! Come on let’s do 10. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Push ups. Let’s go, good push ups. 1, back straight and tight, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. On you back, let’s go. Sit ups. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5."

You wasted more than 20 precious seconds on explaining that due to time constraint we are unable to view the entire process.
That was unnecessary but now you've made us worried.
That kid wasn't doing his exercises properly.
His push ups were uncomplete and his is straining his back. If hes doing standard push ups, he shouldn't cross his legs as it would put unwanted extra strain on the other which causes an imbalance.
His sit ups are horrible. Sit ups should only be done on mats or only during physical test as they can hurt your back when done excessively. He should have done crunches. Also his hands were not cupped by his ears which shows he uses momentum and his upper body to give him an extra push up. This is not correct as you sit ups are supposed to help your abdomen and stomach muscles and focus them there which he clearly did not do.
And lastly, his doing his exercises too fast. This minimizes efficiency and development. His last few push ups were clear incomplete which gives a good example.
What you should have done to the video was to elaborate further on the important details. We don't want to hear about the movie or anything else. We just want to know what to do and why is it good. Just focus on that and while you're at it, get the kid to do it too as an example while you talk. Its more effective and much more watchable.
