"Hi I'm Judy and this is Dan on behalf of Expert Village we are going to now talk to you about your next step to/from your infant seat to your rear facing convertible. So when your baby gets to be to big for the rear facing seat this is the one that has the handle and you can put it in and out of the base. But Michael here has got to big and I can't lift this seat any longer out of the base with him in it so I'm going to go ahead and install my rear facing convertible. It goes like that in the vehicle ya in front of the vehicle it could be the driver side. Okay and the same thing applies, same hardness rules apply for rear facing, the hardness must always be coming from below the shoulder, we are going to take Michael we are going to put him in his seat putting his crack in the crack to keep him back. We are going to hook up his hardness it is coming from below his shoulders which is the correct way for him to ride rear facing. We are going to hook up the buckle and then we are going to pull right here through to make it tight on his hips. We are going to pull the retainer clip down low so we don't choke him. Dan is pulling on the adjusting strap tighten the hardness on the baby toy. Again the retainer clip ended up right at armpit level to hold the hardness on top of his shoulders and he is now happy in his big boy seat and he is getting in there and he is riding a little bit more better. So again rear facing, hardness is at or below the shoulders right up here it is going definitely below the shoulder right there okay. Retainer clip is at armpit and the hardness is snug and we can pinch any extra webbing. To show you that again if you can do this at the top of the webbing at the top of the shoulders it is to loose or you can get a finger underneath that is to loose. You want it just snuggled. "
