"Hi! I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village and today I'm showing you how to baby proof your kitchen. We've moved on to our cabinets and we're going to use these latches that require just a little bit of installation. It's very simple. You're going to need a drill and a pen to mark and obviously, the latch, which can be picked up at a convenience store, discount store, or any sort of baby store that sells these kinds of things. They're readily available. You're just going to go ahead and take this latch part and you're going to mark where you want it. This only requires one screw to screw into the door. It's very simple. You're just going to take your pen. You're going to decide where you want it. Go ahead and mark it. Then just to make the installation easy, we're going to go ahead and drill just a little hole right where we marked the spot. Now we're going to change our bit and we're just going to put on a screwdriver bit. That goes in there like that. Again, it's very simple. It's just going to be one screw right in there. Go ahead and get your latch. You put it there and you put your screw in where you marked the hole. Then you just screw it right in. Now that's nice and secure, and next we're going to attach the top part of the latch, so we'll see you at the next clip."
