"Hi! I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village, and today I'm giving you some tips on baby proofing your bedroom. It's probably a good idea to take a good look around and sort of do a survey of things that are low to the ground that can pose a potential danger to your child. Things that you would otherwise wouldn't even think of twice. Something benign as a fan, which would probably be okay on a bed or even on the table here under normal circumstances, really can become a very real hazard to your child. A toddler or even a crawler who can hoist themselves up onto the bed and put their fingers in there and become injured very quickly. It's a good idea to keep things like this, all electronic things, up off of the ground and far up away so that the child can't actually have any contact with it. Go ahead and unplug things that aren't in use, because you never know when a child can push a button and engage whatever the appliances. Take a look around and be sure that you pull anything dangerous up off the ground."
