"Hi! I'm Karina Fraley for Expert Village. Today I'm giving you some tips on how to baby proof your kitchen. One of the most important places that you're going to want to keep your children out of in the kitchen is the space underneath the sink and the cabinets. That's where most of us store all of our cleaning solutions and things that are very toxic, poisonous, and even potentially deadly for a child. There are a couple of ways to do this depending on what kind of handles you have on your cabinets. You me ale to use a sliding lock like this. If you have something that this wouldn't actually work on, you might want to invest in these very, invest in these very inexpensive latches. They are very easy to install. I'm going to show you how in the next clip. You're just going to need a drill and a pen to mark it. The screws come with it. These are very easily found at any sort of convenience store, discount store, baby store. There are many different options. If you're not handy with a drill, I'm sure that you can find a friend who is . If you want to go with some more like this that doesn't require any sort of installation, this is also an option. Stick around. In the next clips, I'm going to show you how these work and I'm going to show you how to install the latch."
