"Alright, we are ready to start talking about the verbal things that we're going to do during this question and answer period. And one of the first things that you want to do kind of goes together with one of the non-verbals that you're going to do. Remember we just talked about you're going to nod your head when you're being asked a question. You're nodding your head, you're saying yes, I understand you, I hear what you're saying, now I'm going to answer your question. But, the first thing that you want to do after the question has been asked to you, is repeat the question back to whoever asked it. Because you want to answer the question that they asked. So you might say something as simply as ok, what you're asking is, is XYZ company moving into town on December 15th? Or you might say, alright, what I hear you saying. Because basically you're saying alright, this is what I hear you saying. This is what you said, am I correct? So you definitely want to answer the question that they asked and answer the appropriate question that they asked. And while I'm saying that, remember what I just said here, answer the question that they asked. Don't answer other questions, don't go off on a tangent. This is what I hear you asked, this is what you asked me, right? Let me answer this question. Ok?"
