"Alright, tips for confidence in public speaking. Whatever you do, don't panic. It is not, it is not huge. In the big picture of the world, this is not huge. It may feel like it in a moment, but do not panic. You know, they call your name or you know you're going next, and you just get this overwhelming sense of doom because you have to get up and speak next. Well, don't. Something that you can do to, you know, even if you do panic a little bit, remember to breath. Take in some deep breaths. That will help calm you down. That will lower your heart rate. That will help calm you down. Get a little drink of water, maybe even have a cup of water with you while you're getting ready to, you know, while you go up and you give your speech. Whatever it is, it's going to be OK. You do not need to panic. I always tell my students, what's the absolute worst thing that could happen while you're giving that speech? You could die. And that's not going to happen. So there's absolutely nothing to panic over."
