Video Transcript

"Alright. The next thing that is essential to being confident about giving your speech and being a confident speaker is practice. You must be ready when the time comes to give your speech. Whether it's for a class, a college class, a high school class, whatever it is, you must be ready. And the only way that you can be ready is if you have rehearsed, or practiced. Practice, practice, practice, practice, practice. By yourself, practice in front of the mirror, practice in front of family and friends. Basically anybody who will let you do your speech in front of them, do it. Because the more familiar you are with the material, the more familiar you are with doing this in front of people, the more your confidence is going to get better, and better, and better, and that's going to reduce your speaking anxiety. So practice, practice, practice."
