"Alright. We've taken this nervous energy and this nervousness, we're making energy out of it, and now we want to talk about being confident. And I'm going to give you a lot of different tips that you can follow that are really easy and they will help improve your confidence. Your confidence will minimize your nervousness. And the first thing you want to do is as you're preparing your speech, you want to prepare plenty of material. Now what I'm talking about is kind of in two different ways. One, you want to make sure that your speech is long enough and has enough information in it, obviously, that's what I'm talking about, prepare enough material. You have probably practiced, and we're going to talk about that in a minute, but you have a sense of how long your speech is going to be. Have enough material to fill that time frame, because if you start delivering your material, and you're only halfway through your time limit, you might start, get really, that will make you more nervous because you're saying, "Oh my gosh, I'm almost finished with my speech and I have to fill a lot more time". Another thing is, in your notes, make sure you have enough material in your notes that you can follow. Because you're going to be reading some notes, have it all written down in a way that you can follow, and that will help build your confidence."
