"This is John with Expert Village and I'm talking about how to make a logo. Now one of the most important things you can do is your font. Now this is something you're just going to have to go through. So I usually go through and I highlight and I try to download as many fonts as I can. I have several hundreds to look through. You can get packs up to the thousands, I typically don't use that many because some of them in the big packs are just so out there that you may not ever need it. But in this case I'm just going to go through and I'm going to just slowly go through and scan and anytime you see one just make a note. Okay if you like the book, antique look, then let's write it down and so that way as much as you want to remember you might find 6 or 7 and so you just keep going through. Say maybe you like something like this, it's a little bit different, it's kind of cool. Now what I typically would do is I open multiple windows of the same and that way I can go through and open it up so that way each time I have one I have it in my window. Then I can compare it to each one so then that way, now if I might have 5, 10 or 15 of them up here, but that way I can have a visual eye because what I want to do is I want to keep an eye and I can decide then which one. I wouldn't keep it to yourself, I would call up a buddy, call up a friend, have them look at it, call up your wife, if you must and have them look and just to see, you want first reaction. You don't want people to think about it too much, you want them to glance at it, say humm I think that looks right or that doesn't. So don't be afraid to get a second opinion, but at the same time it's your design, do what you like."
