Video Transcript

"Hi, this is John with Expert Village and I'm talking about making your own logo. The first thing you want to do is look for magazines, newspapers, get out the phone book, just go through and find logos. Look when you're driving down the road, just look at logos of companies and be aware of different types of logos. First of all find something similar, don't copy a logo, because number one you could get sued over that but find something maybe a style that you like. Therefore when you pull up your software and you're preparing to go through and define the fonts and define everything that you need, then everything is going to be there in your mind and you'll have at least a grasp of where to start. If you don't you're going to be completely lost and you're just going to pull up the software and you may not have any idea. So that's the first thing, is kind of get an idea of what you want."
