So, it's time to play party games, yea, the children love them. But you need to be really, really organized. My advice is to make a list of all the games you anticipate playing. But be a little flexible because if you're running some fast racing kind of games, or running around games, and it's going really well, you might want to let it run a little bit longer before you do your slower activities and games. Birthday party games are all about having fun, so I like the children to participate in all my games. That means where games where children have to be out, well, make them a judge. They can walk around and pick the winners of the round or next time around, another child drops out and becomes the judge and the other child goes back into the game. That way, no one's unhappy, no one feels sad or left out at the sides. I like all the children to be winners of the games, so, have lots of candy ready to give everyone, a bit of a reward for participating and having fun. But again, if you really want to have a couple of winners, or one winner, have some medals or presents ready. In my experience, children just love hanging these winners? medals around their necks. Sometimes they actually prefer it to a present, makes them feel very special. Also, have a chat with the birthday child before the party and see if he or she would like a specific game played, you can incorporate that. Maybe the children on the day have their own ideas and may have a real favorite. After all, it's about them having fun.
