How to Make a Mojito

"Hi this is Cheryl with Expert Village. I’m going to show you how to make the perfect mojito and we’re going to go ahead and mash that around in the bottom, we want to break apart that lime, we want to have that lime open up all that great mint flavor and now dissolve the sugar and we’re going to add our light white rum, you can measure that out ahead of time if you want, but if you feel comfortable with your pour just go ahead and add that in and then crushed ice. You’re going to go ahead and fill up your glass all the way to the top, got a nice piece of ice in there. Top it off with a little lemon lime soda, you can top it off with a couple of real nice mint pieces for garnish, and we’re going to add a lime wedge on the side. And that my friends is the Perfect Mojito, oh yeah that’s perfect, that’s good. Oh this is great.
