"Now we're going to talk about what to do if you have child that just doesn't want something on their face at all. You've suggested a full face; you've suggested something on their cheek, well how about something on their arm or on their hand? A lot of children who don't like face painting will want a tattoo, which basically is a painting on their arm or their hand. Sticking with our spider man theme, I'm going to do one of my favorite hand designs. The first thing we're going to do, since spider man's red and blue, we're going to go ahead and make this web blue. So we're making a diamond with curved edges, and extending the lines, adding our webbing in between. This time instead of adding a spider, we're going to draw a small spider man face, right on the blue web. We'll get some red, now usually in face painting we do go light to dark however just drawing some white eyes and trying to draw a red face around it is really difficult. We'll go ahead and start with our red oval for spider man's face. Just going to make a nice big oval, right on our web, and another way you can do this is you can draw the spider man face first and then draw your web extending our from behind it, but I think when you're first starting out, this is a little bit easier to do. There's the beginning of our design we've got a blue web with a red spider man mask started on it, and we'll finish that up."
