on 12/4/2008 wow, this is really uninformed. I'm african american and ive read about native american culture, and this is just, wow, i cant even find the words to say how very incorrect this is. I'd hate to see what she'd do for something african american themed.

on 8/15/2008 Wow... you have got to be kidding me. Insulting and ignorant. You should be ashamed of yourself for marketing this as an instructional video for native american culture. Poof positive that horrible stereotypes are still being taught by whites (to their children) who are too lazy to research culture, who posess a sense of entitlement & cultural superiority, and a condesending, false respect for others. Shame on you, Sincerely Mark Wichman

There is nothing tasteful about what they are doing, it is insulting!
You are not showing any thing that resembles Indian culture. Indian do no dance like that. We do not dress like that.

This is a bad joke and they look like fools in the video!

Yes, if you want to teach your children how to continue negative stereotype, by all means throw a insensitive party like this. Teach them how to bigots and not search for truth.

Video Transcript

"In this clip, we're going to show you how to take and show the Indian culture in a different way through dance. Indians did all different types of dancing around the fire. So at a party, what better way to show Indian culture and have a great time then doing a dance. All you'll have to do is pick some music. And you can pick movements that go along with the Indian culture. Like the praying movement. Or explosions like fire. The wind motion swaying. What is very important when you are actually doing the dance with the kids is make the movements very simple so they'll stay interested. And have a lot of repetition. And don't spend too much time on it. Just teach it once and maybe perform it twice for the participants or their viewers."
