"This is Dan Kelly with Keller Williams Realty here in Miami Shores, Florida. I'm with the Kelly White Team, and today we're going to tell you how to buy a house. Okay, be ready to make the big purchase; you're going to buy your home. Now, one of the most important things to look for is the neighborhood. Why is the neighborhood so important? Because you are making one of biggest investments that you're ever going to make. So, the neighborhood is key. The neighborhood is key. Why? Because you want to at least hold the worth of your investment, and hopefully escalate it. You want it to go up, up, up in price, and the way that it goes up in price. The way that that happens is if you choose the right neighborhood. What is it about a neighborhood that makes it great? Well here in Florida, if it's on the water, that is excellent. If it's close to the airports, that's fantastic. We want to be close to some great schools. We want to be close to some downtown night life. We want to be close to the beaches. That's what makes a great neighborhood in south Florida. Now, you have to ask yourself what makes a great neighborhood in your town. Is it a good school system? Is it new development, new construction? You find out, just pick out a good neighborhood."
