On behalf of expertvillage.com, I’d like to welcome you. Okay here’s a tip for choosing the right Realtor for your next real estate transaction. I want to talk a little bit about hiring a local Realtor. Now in my opinion, hiring a local Realtor is to your advantage because you’re getting somebody who is familiar with the area that your property is located in, so you’re getting somebody who knows all about things in the area that another Realtor from another county may not know about; all the little things and all these little things make all the difference in the world when a buyer is interested in your property. For instance, where the schools are located? How many schools? What type of schools are they? Are they good schools? Are they bad schools? Where the shopping is? What are all the neat things to do in the community? Is it a homeowners association or not? So these are all things that a local Realtor should know, and a local Realtor should also know the market conditions in this area, how much the houses are going for. How much they sold for and so forth, and we’ll cover that in a second, so that’s one tip for choosing an excellent Realtor."
