"Hello! This is Jacqueline on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I will be talking about entertaining the kids while you are busy working. Your kids will likely get extremely bored with your job. There is not too much that is more distracting or threatening to getting your work done than a bored child. Though I do not recommend letting the television set babysit your children, I will recommend popping in a DVD or a video game for a little while so that your children can have something to do in a place to focus their energy and attention while you complete your task. If your children like to be active and you have a yard for them to play in if weather permitting, that's the perfect time to let them go outside to play with the ball, hula hoop or whatever toy that will keep them busy. There is always good old fashioned hide and seek or jump rope. If they need to stay indoors, they can play DDR, dance dance revolution, that is a great invention or they can do arts and crafts or read books. These things are great for them anyways. Just make sure that you have a set time limit or how much time they will be doing any activity and how much time you will be busy with your work. Make sure you don't get too consumed with what you are doing. "
