Creating a Kid Friendly Home Based Business Office

Our family's office space is a multi purpose room; it has to be. We only have so many square feet of living space and many things to make room for. In our office space, we have a comfy couch, a TV set up with DVD and VCR and Play Station. We let the kids play DDR, dance dance revolution in our office when it is not being used by us. This way they feel that this room is not totally off limits but they understand the difference between their use of this space and our use of this space. They will know the difference between their use of this space and our use of this space. They will know the difference if you tell them and they will love taking turns. If you allow your children to get on-line, set them up with their own user account and profile, so when it's their turn to use the office, they feel like they are included. They learn how to share and take turns. Just to make sure you know the website that they visit."
