Creating a Business Plan for a Non-Profit Organization

"Hi! This is Jim Goettler and this is a video about how to form and operate a non-profit organization. In this segment, I am going to touch on the business plan which you are going to need to develop so that the community sees you know what you are doing and will also become part of your 501-C Security Application. A business plan for non-profit is exactly like a business plan for a profit organization where you need to show what your assets are, your long range plans are and how you are going to go about getting those plans and who your market is, etc. These are things which are often overlooked with non-profit planning. People thinking they are outside of a box but for a successful organization to sustain itself and do its work, a good clear business plan is essential and should probably be updated every year.
