"In this clip we are going to use our vector tools to introduce some photo elements to our logo design. We will again use Illustrator which is a registered trademark of Adobe and I am in no way affiliated with Adobe. Now suppose you want to include a more photo realistic look to your company logo designs. Let’s look at two techniques that could be used to incorporate photo images. Now here we are taking a photograph of an eye that we would like to use as a fill for our text. Using Adobe Illustrator we will place the image behind our text. We can now create a compound path or a cookie cutter effect which will leave us with a stylized design that will help convey the visual nature of the company's business. Perhaps we would like a more abstract look to our company's logo. We will use the same photograph of the eye along with our vector tools to streamline the image. As a result we will simplify many of the details and exaggerate others. This will give us a unique logo that will work quite affectively alongside our logo type. So that concludes our look at using vector tools to incorporate photo elements into our logo design."
