Retirement Speeches: Thanking People

"Ok we've just talked about the thank yous that are going to go out to your family members, if that's applicable and, and if their at the party. But now we want to talk about a few other thank yous that you want to give at this particular time in the speech; you want to thank the people who organized the party, surely somebody put this thing together weather it was the secretaries; or the accounting team or your business partner, but give a thank you for; for putting the party together. But give a thank you for, for putting the party together. You also want to thank everyone for the gift; now 99.9% of the time there's going to be a gift. So you can kind of count on this that you will have received a gift at this point and you usually give your retirement speech right after you receive the gift. So you want to give a thanks for the gift and then you want to give thank yous to the group as a whole for all their best wishes for you; they've, they've shared their care and concern; and, and have given you a great send off for your new future as a retired person; and so you want to give a big thanks for that."
