"O.k. we've got a problem and we have established criteria and come up with some great solutions. Now comes the hard part. We as a group and I repeat, we as a group must decide on our solution. And I'm going to go back to my statement about everybody's got a different idea, everybody's got a different perception; so when it comes to deciding what solution, if you haven't followed the protocol that I've set; you're more likely to have someone get upset about the solution that is picked. It, it doesn't; it does... You don't want it to become about well you just like Bob better, so you're picking Bob's idea; alright. If you have set that criteria and evaluated as a group the solutions, then when you decide as a group hopefully there will not be much conflict. Because everybody has then already had an opportunity to say their pros and cons about that particular solution. What they like about it, what they didn't like about it; why they think it won't work. That's why it's so important to follow that pattern because it will help keep conflict out of the problem solution decision making process."
