"Ok the speech is nearly over, but what we want to talk about now are plans for the future. Everybody knows this days been coming, they've been talking about it for weeks and months; or maybe even years about when you're retiring. But what they're dying to know now is what are you going to do, what are your plans for the future? Are you going to just sit on the front porch in your rocking chair, are you going to open your own business; are you going to donate most of your time to charity? How are you going to spend your time? People will be very interested to know what it is you're going to do, and they might even be concerned about what you're going to do depending on your position at the company. Maybe you worked 40 50 60 hours a week and they don't want to see you retire and do nothing, unless doing nothing is what you want. Are you planning fishing trips, are you going to travel the world? What is it that you're going to do now? Tell us; we're dying to know."
