"Ok, as you are working on these questions for your problem solution; I'm going to give you a little tip. Your questions will probably be one of three things; questions of fact, value or policy. Now let me tell you what those are. Fact is a fact, it is straight forward information. The break is not long enough between classes to get across campus. That is a fact, alright. Value is where you start talking about peoples belief systems. It becomes a question of right and wrong, what is good and bad; that is a question of value. And a question of policy are laws, rules and regulations that you want to see changed. And that's where we're talking about probably your smokers and changing the law or the rule about smoking in the building, or a speed limit; or something that is policy. And that's what you want to consider when you as a group are coming up with your questions. What are our questions about; fact, value or policy?"
