"O.k, we've defined the problem. Now the next thing we have to do as a group is analyze the problem. Now what does it mean to analyze the problem? Well, I'm going to use the term brainstorming and to analyze the problem, every group member needs to talk about their perspective of the problem. What is the problem? How do we feel about it? Now, we're not talking necessarily about solution yet, but what are all the problems with the problem. Well, the building stinks because people smoke in it. Well, smokers end up taking more time off from work because they're smoking and they should be working. Whatever the problem is, come up with all the reasons why it's a problem and make sure and get every group member to contribute because everybody's perception of the problem will be a little bit different. Get that all out on the table so that you can come up with a solution shortly down the line here."
