"Hey, I am Tracy Goodwin the red sweater lady and today I am going to teach you how to write a speech if you are retiring. Your retirement speech, congratulations you have worked hard all of your life and you are getting ready to retire. I guarantee you they're going to throw you a party and I wouldn't even be surprised if they give you a gift and you know what they're going to want from you, a speech. Don't freak out. There are really simple rules and steps to follow for making a retirement speech. I'm going to walk you through it step by step. In the process, I'm going to tell you how to deliver the speech. That'll be in the writing of it as well, but it's nothing to panic about. It's a great, great day for you, a day of celebration and you want to be able to take a few minutes and take a little walk down memory lane, talk about your wonderful experience with the people that you worked with, the company that you worked for and let them know what you'll be doing while they're back at the office working tomorrow, you're retired. Let's go."
