"What's up? My name is Natural and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village to discuss how to survive in prison. In this clip I will be discussing something that I think is very important to surviving in prison. Working out. They do provide a lot of people with workout facilities and I know it seems like a common cloche thing to think about people lifting weights and pumping iron in prisons at least with the men it is. If you workout in prison it kind of works for you in very many ways. Aside from just keeping you healthy, it also gives you a stress relief and opportunity to take your mind off of some of the things that are going on. It's a confidence booster as well because as I said in the prior clip, a lot of the food that they serve here in prison is very fattening, it's very starchy and you may find yourself gaining weight pretty swiftly. It's something that most people do when they go. I mean you're getting 3 squares a day, lots of rest and all kinds of other things. So working out is definitely something that is necessary. When I came home from being incarcerated because of a lot of my diet and what have not, when I was there I found myself to be diabetic and it was a very big problem for me, all of the health issues that I gained from. Consuming what it is that they were feeding me for such a period of time. I also found out that carrying over some of the workout regimen that I did while I was there, once I got home help me to regulate that and maintain my health. So it's necessary, it's a good stress reliever, it keeps you healthy and it boosts the confidence that you do still need even though you're still incarcerated. I mean just because you're incarcerated doesn't mean that you don't want to be healthy and be attractive as well. So if you get yourself a good workout plan, it kind of balances out what it is that they're feeding you or what it is that you have access to as far as food is concerned and it's necessary to keep you healthy physically as well."
