"Welcome to Regal Reptiles again. We're going to talk about feeding our Russian tortoises. Russian tortoises are fairly simple. They like to eat grass in the wild, they eat clover, dandelions, hay. We feed our Russian tortoises a bunch of kale we also feed them colligreens actually this is called greens, as well as kale, dandelions greens which we can pick in the yard are available the grocery store. We give them a supplement. We like to use two different supplements. One of them will be a multi vitamin with lots of different items in it. This has calcium, protein in it. This is just straight up calcium and this is another product that is mineral which is calcium with lots of other minerals, it has added vitamin D3. That is very important for the Russian tortoises so that the shells grow properly. What we'll do is we're going to feed the Russian tortoise, we're going to cut up some greens, we are going to sprinkle the vitamins on them and we're going to put them in the enclosure and we're going to do that next."
