"At Regal Reptiles we have a large selection of Russian tortoises on display. The scientific name, the Latin name of Russian tortoises is Testudo horsfieldii and this is almost a full grown, this is a regular breed specism this is an adult. She's about 10 years old and this is a girl Russian tortoise, they can live for about 30-40 years. There have been some reports of them living possibly up to 100 years. They are born about the size of a quarter. This guy here is about 2 years old, he's about 4". He was actually born in the wild and collected most of the Russian tortoises you are going to find available in the pet trade are collected animals. But these guys acclimate very well to captivity so this is about a 4" Russian tortoise. They come from Pakistan and they live throughout Pakistan and even up to China, they are very popular easy to take care tortoises because of their size. They do not get gigantic."
