"Right now I'm getting ready to clean out the cage a little bit. It's a basic cleaning. I just need to replace the substrate basically and I can keep her in a little litter box like this. This is definitely sufficient to keep her in and give her enough room to walk around and view what's going on around her at the same time. Now what I've done is I've basically just taken out everything that I had inside of her cage here. She had her shelter, her plant and her food and water dishes. I removed those and I've been using cage carpet on the bottom here instead of a dirt substrate which is better for her, only because she has special needs. Now with most turtles you would use something different. In order to remove all the little dirt and little dusts and whatnot they collected on the bottom of the cage, I'm just going to use a Shop-Vac and sweep it out real quick. So, go ahead and turn it on."
