"On behalf of Expert Village, I'm Nicole and I'm here to tell you about Uromastyx. All Uromastyx are characterized by this tiny tail. This is something that all Uromastyx's carry and there are a few quiet of differences of the species of Uromastyx. However this one is a Molly Uromastyx, a female so she's less colorful than the males. A male would poses a bright yellow body with sharp legs and head. Now this female, you'll notice these patterns run along her back and along this area of her face. These are characteristic of the Molly Uromastyx not to be confused with ornate. They often have typical patterns but usually are pronounced that you will see on a female Molly. Now all Uromastyx's also have the dinosaur like face, the large jaws and the very active expressive eyes and the more rounded nose. Now the males usually will have a larger jaw right here and are usually going to be a little bit more aggressive. All Uromastyx's are actually aggressive but the males tend to be a little bit more. They also have jaws that are made for crunching things such as dried beans, very strong thick jaws that will cause quite a bit of damage if you get a bite. All Uromastyx also should have thick strong stocky legs. As you can see here this little girl here as very thick legs. She has good muscle tone and that is something very important to watch for in Uromastyx."
